Submit notice to end your tenancy

Use this form to give notice that you'd like to end your tenancy. Please check your details carefully before submitting.

Under the Renters' Rights Act 2025, you can end your tenancy at any time by giving notice in writing. Your notice needs to end on the last day of a rent period, and you usually need to give at least 2 months' notice.

You'll need to keep paying rent up until your move-out date. Tell us your intended move-out date below — once you've submitted this form, we'll review your tenancy and confirm the earliest date you can move out.

Start typing the first line of your address and your property will appear

The earliest date you can move out is 02 September 2026 — a provisional estimate; we’ll confirm the exact date once we’ve reviewed your tenancy.

Why can't I just pick any date?

Your notice has to end on the last day of a rent period, not partway through one. Say your rent is due on the 15th of the month — each rent period then runs from the 15th to the 14th of the next month, so your notice would need to end on a 14th or 15th. We work this out for you and show the earliest valid date above.
